Incorrect back command in quiz, does not go to previous question

So I started quiz sorting, entered an answer for q1.

For q2 I inputted next. Which displays q3.

However when I input back it shows me a new question not q2.

Yes, due to miscommunications, I did not update the UG and my teammates added the code back. This feature is supposed to be removed. The flaw is of medium severity because it cause occasionally inconvenience but the quiz is still usable.
