Gestures (swipe directions, corner swipes)

Bug Description

I’m encountering difficulties using ‘commands per key direction’ (the keys on the sides/corners of a key) when using shorts swipes (I’ve disabled the dictionary). Specifically, the feature doesn’t function reliably with swipes longer than approximately 100 pixels – seemingly ignoring the short/long swipe threshold configured in the shorts swipe calibration. I’m now finding that I can only execute these swipes over a limited distance; it must be substantial enough for the gesture to register, yet not so large that it’s missed entirely. Gestures that are too short or slightly too long are unsuccessful.
I suspect this issue is linked to the short gesture settings within Gesture Tuning. Disabling short gestures in Gesture Tuning appears to prevent the ‘commands per key direction’ from working. I’ve explored various configurations within Gesture Tuning in an attempt to resolve this

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install cleverkeys
  2. disable dictionary
  3. try to use the "direction keys" with average length swipes

Neural Configuration (if applicable)

Logs

Troubleshooting Steps

  • I have restarted the CleverKeys app
  • I have tried disabling and re-enabling the keyboard
  • I have checked if this happens with neural predictions disabled
  • I have tried clearing the app cache/data (if safe to do so)
