Enhancement Suggestion

First, I am making changes the code I pulled, but it would be nice to have options to:

1. Copy and honor a .gitignore file
2. Create the git repo within the project folder and not at the parent folder
3. List projects under a folder, select some or all projects, and process each folder/project as a separate git repo.

Again, I am doing this myself, but I am hacking the code to do this. I am not fully knowledgeable of your code design and implementation.

Update: I have successfully accomplished my updates, I modified the UI and Settings to handle the new features. I will attempt a pull request or attach my updated code at some point.

I have to confess that I am not a GIT expert or basic user. I will have to ask for help from my co-workers to create the pull request and upload my changes.
