<T> Component affects fetch #234

Current Behavior
When adding a component to certain files, fetch seems to break
Expected Behavior
Fetch shouldn't break when adding components.
Steps to Reproduce
To summarise, when the component is added to certain files the fetch functionality of the app fails. There's is nothing 'different' about the components that cause this issue. They are just wrapping around React Native's components so unsure why this is happening. NB. Another bit of info is that these files seem to be called 'early' in the runtime ie. the home page and bottom tabs.
