Provide dependencies in a zip file

This is for people who are not using Composer.

'The PHP zip file is not complete, and we have to add some dependences. It will be great if you could publish a zip file.'

We should use a phar (if we can figure out how to create one).

What is phar? Phar archives are best characterized as a convenient way to group several files into a single file. As such, a phar archive provides a way to distribute a complete PHP application in a single file and run it from that file without the need to extract it to disk.

While phar might be the correct option, I don't think it is what clients are expecting. We have received explicit requests for a .zip.

While .phar files can be saved as .zip and .tar and you can open them with a normal compression utility, adding/extracting the meta data and index file stub is impossible without special tools.
