Noise and Vibration Issues at Different Stepper Motor Speeds in StealthChop Mode

My Nema17 stepper motor operates quietly at speeds below 50 RPM but starts generating increasing noise as the speed exceeds 50 RPM. The noise continues to increase linearly up to 300 RPM. Surprisingly, after 300 RPM, the noise begins to decrease. The noise is not originating from the motor itself but is caused by vibrations transmitted to the machine's body. The DRV_STATUS register consistently indicates that the motor is running in stealthchop mode. Seeking assistance to understand and resolve this issue.It would be sufficient for me if I could achieve quiet operation at 100 RPM while running the motor at 24V and 2A.

Hello,
You can try different things :

• mount your motor on silent blocs (rubber standoffs)
• add a dampener to your load
• add inertia to your load (weight properly centered on the axis can make a huge difference)
