[Bug] Outputs not found in profile

Describe the bug
When using an Airflow connection as DBT target following error occours.

dbt.exceptions.DbtProfileError: Runtime Error
outputs not specified in profile 'XYZ'

It was working with Airflow 2.9.3, DBT 1.7 & airflow-dbt-python 2.0.1 but not when running versions mentioned below.

Airflow

• Version: 2.11.0
• Provider: on-premises on Docker
• airflow-dbt-python: 3.1.0

Dbt

• Version: 1.8.9

Ok, it seems that defining the Airflow connection needs to be on dbt_conn_id now.

But now i have a problem that the connection type of Airflow and DBT does not match:

    raise KeyError(
KeyError: 'There are no DbtConnectionHook subclasses with conn_type=mssql'

In Airflow the connection type is mssql - in DBT it is called sqlserver ...

How to fix that?

With version 2.2.0 all is working as expected:

• defining target with a connection id is working, the profile is generated based on the definition in the connection
• execution of DBT operations is working
