Read tags from asset files

Hi! It is so useful package. But currently I want to create app with only asset mp3 files. How can I read tags from asset file? Thanks for reply!

Hi, sorry for the late reply! I had intended to add this, but unfortunately it's not possible at the moment to read from an asset without reading the whole asset into memory. Hoping support for streaming assets will be added soon into Flutter (see flutter/flutter#73322).

In the meantime, I recommend you copy the asset over to a temporary file and use that.
