Auto promote standbys

When a player dropouts the standby's should be promoted in time of reply order and emailed they have been bumped. Or perhaps alerted there is a space and to update their status

Thanks for your suggestion. Regarding "Or perhaps alerted there is a space and to update their status" - please note that this already happens.

Anyone on the bench is e-mailed if there's a drop out. However this only happens after the deadline (https://toepoke.co.uk/about.aspx/glossary#deadline)

I wasn't a fan of this initially. Indeed the first version of the website worked like this but I found players on the bench that would be put onto a team would make other plans but not take their name off. It created more problems than it solved.

However I've had a change of heart. What we could do is have those on the bench re-confirm that they're available to play and the first to reply gets put onto a team.
