Description

Description:
The qmd mcp command hangs indefinitely and fails to start the MCP (Model Context Protocol) server as expected. The process must be manually interrupted with Ctrl+C (SIGINT).

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Run qmd mcp
  2. Command hangs without starting the server
  3. No error messages are displayed

Expected Behavior:
The command should successfully start the MCP server and display confirmation or connection details.

Actual Behavior:
The command hangs indefinitely with no output, error messages, or indication of what's blocking the server from starting.

Environment:
• OS: macOS V15.7.4
• Shell: zsh 5.9
• Node version: 22

No error output is provided before the hang occurs, making it difficult to debug the root cause.
