Errors written upon menu screen

Description

When switching to any menu except first one, error messages are showing on screen and mess with another menu items.

• OS: Arch Linux

• Version: 2.2.0, commit c75428c, cargo build

In case you find these messages after exit useful:

Ah this might be caused by the sound lib checking it out

We use the rodio as the audio lib

Rodio uses cpal library to send audio to the OS for playback. ALSA development files are needed to build cpal on Linux. 

These are provided as part of the libasound2-dev package on Debian and Ubuntu distributions and alsa-lib-devel on Fedora.

I see online that this package might be the solution

sudo pacman -S alsa-lib

This didn't fix my problem, but pulseaudio-alsa package did. Thanks!

What if user doesn't care about sound and doesn't want to see error messages? IMHO this type of errors should not mess with CLI.

I mean with pseudographics of an app.

It feels like someone transaltes all html warnings and javascript exceptions in the middle of webpage. :)

Yeah totally agree with you, gonna try to see if there is a way to just silently mask those instead of having errors showned, this way people who have the package will have sound else they will still be able to play without errors
