How to get a signal in the Receiver block?

This looks like a very fun project.
However, I cannot get it to work, and that's most likely due to not clearly understating the up and down signal paths.

It would be great if you could provide a signal path with blocks showing what and where the satllite up/down converts and where the IF is applied.

Also in the following help box, it is not clear which parts are getting up down converted.

I managed to receive and jam the signal, but the "numbers" don't quite add up.
I suspect there may be a logical or language error in the description of the UC/DC functions, at least compared to standard mixer descriptions.

Here's a typical functional diagram for a mixer used in UC/DC.

The problem seem to be the quoted 400 MHz TX/RX offset not being taken into account.
(Especially since the "Offset" function only works in loop-back mode.)

=> From unclear problem statement we have 2 possible fRX offsets to fTX: 
	fTX = 4810

	fRX-1 =	fo1: 4810 + 400 = 5210
	fRX-2 = fo2: 4810 - 400 = 4410  * 	(lower!)

=> From other description:
	RX: When DC'ing, the fIF will decrease from fRX by 3500 MHz.
	TX: When UC'ing, the fTX will increase from fIF by 3350 MHz.

=> 
	ΔDC = -3500		- RX
	ΔUC = +3350		- TX

# DC = Down-Conversion	
	: fIF  =  fLO ⭙ fRF		
	: fIF  = |fLO -  fRF|	where	(fLO > fRF > fIF)

	Input : fRF = fRX_2 = 4410
	Output: fIF = fRX_2 + ΔDC 
				= 4410 - 3500 
				= 910

Instead you use 1310 MHz for the correct receiver frequency (IF).
Q: How did you get that?
A: You used the TX frequency, when it should have been the RX frequency.

Or maybe you are not using the mixer equation at all, as you didn't mention the fLO... ?

You are 100% correct that the logic was wrong. 4/5 people who put this together had zero experience with this kind of equipment (myself included) and were relying on the 5th guy to explain the high level while we tried to make a simulator.

Current development version has independent Block Up Converter and Low Noise Block along with a more structured flow of IF@Transmitter -> @IFBUC -> RF@Antenna -> Satellite -> RF@Antenna -> RF@LNC -> IF@Reciever with proper conversions at each step.
