depth being set incorrectly when :scope => ... ?

Depth gets set correctly when I nest comments. But when I turn on scope: :post_id they stop getting the right depth and just remain at 1. They all have the same :post_id and correct parent. lft and rgt also look correct. It's just the depth.

Any ideas? Thanks!

What version are you using?

There were very recent changes addressed to the issues with depth, you should update to current master.

Also, you may also wish to execute Model.roots.each{ |c| c.send(:update_self_and_descendants_depth) } in rails console to update incorrectly set depths if there were any.

Thanks for the response.

I'm on version 0.1.3. It looks like the 0.2.0 requires mongoid 3? I'm not quite ready to upgrade to that yet.

Model.roots.each{ |c| c.send(:update_self_and_descendants_depth) } did fix the problem on existing models, but new ones have the same problem so short of running that in an after_save not sure what to do.

Do you think I could easily backport the fixes to 0.1.3 or should I bite the bullet and upgrade Mongoid. Thanks!
