Uploading an .spc file to the Music Player

I recently asked about how to upload custom music and now know I need to find out how to create a .spc file. How does one import that file into the Music Player?

VARIA generated seeds are already patched to use MSU1.

Will this affect what Emulator I use? I use Snes9x.

If your Snes9X is 1.55 or later, it supports MSU1.
