Continuous update not updating.

I have sew force at max, continous update enabled. No idea what's wrong with it, it's just not doing anything. It's worked sporadically, but right now it is just plain refusing to move.

Did you save the file with clothes already made and sew lines and a the human as a collider? For some reason I get the same issue if I open a file and just say update but if I make new geometry and apply modelling cloth it works. It's not cool because it crashes blender a lot for me so just being able to skip making the clothes' geometry over and over would be nice.

I'm having the same issues. Continuous update will run the first time, but then if I try to make any changes, it won't run again at all. Doesn't matter if I ctrl-z back as far as I can, it simply won't run a second time. I would really like to use this tool, as of now, a little too buggy to pay for. Will keep watching.

Following my attempts to use pins, I made a new file with all of the same meshes as I used in the first several attempts. None of these were files I made from scratch. I split an edge using the Blender included edge splitting function, and ran the continuous update, which proceeded normally. I added sew lines to join two edges, reset the cloth modeling and switched on the continuous update button. The continuous update did not happen. Undo/undo history is of no help. Reloading the mesh did not help.
EDIT: Tried again with a rebuilt file. Problem does not appear until I add sewing lines.

Tried modeling another garment...

I added a plane and a human figure to the blend file.
I rotated the plane 90 degrees.
I subdivided the plane horizontally and vertically several times.
I duplicated the plane and reversed normals to have an identical front and back.
I switched on Modeling Cloth on the plane and collision on the human.
I added sew lines along the vertical edges.
I ran continuous update (sew force 0.5, velocity 0.02).
Continuous update ran normally.
I turned it off and reset the simulation.
I switched to edit mode.
I removed some sew lines that were getting stuck to the human.
I switched back to object mode.
I reran the simulation (normal performance).
I switched to edit mode.
I activated proportional editing and scaled a couple of edges in the x direction.
I returned to object mode.
My edits to those edges moved to a different part of the plane in object mode.
I activated continuous update.
No updates occurred.
I used the undo history to step back before I edited the plane.
Still no updates.

Issue is still here, extremely frustrating as it basically breaks the sim for any active scene.

Full rewrite.
Try the new version. It's still in beta but it works way better than the old version. run it in edit mode to manipulate stuff. Grab tool is gone.
