Update The Cold Dark to a modern open source license

It would be great if the Genesis drivers could be moved to a modern open source license from:

https://opensource.org/licenses

At this point, however, I imagine it might be a bit late in the game.

Given the project history and a skim of the documentation scattered about... the project looks MIT licensed. But an actual LICENSE.md or a consolidated contributor's page would be awesome. :-)

That's not exactly the MIT license. "The authors hereby grant permission to use, [ ... ] and license this software and its documentation for any purpose." seems pretty open though.

@harrisonapickettiv I assume you were highlighting "license" there, but the MIT text says "sublicense", so I'm not sure that there's any meaningful difference...
