Building PyFVS on MacOS Monterey & Linux server for python 3.8? #21

Hi Tod,
I am working on a forest management project and hope to leverage the PyFVS API for vegetation dynamics simulations. However, I work on a macOS Monterey personal device and a Linux remote server. I have some experience with python but never built packages from source code with CMake etc. It seems the PIPy Could you help me with a quick guide on how I should get started?
