Handling multiple pedals connected at once

I recently bought my second Zoom pedal and connected it up. Zoom explorer sees it and notices when I, for example, change the name of a patch, which apparently emits some MIDI data. But in every instance I open, "Download All Patches" only shows the patches from my MS-50G.

From my experience using programs that interface with other USB devices, I'd expect an instance of zoom-explorer to monopolize one pedal, and another instance to monopolize the other. It seems that zoom explorer is fine with sharing, and each instance will happily see both pedals as available and default to talking mainly with the second one in the above list.

I haven't checked how the code is supposed to handle this. Maybe it's a case that hasn't yet been handled.

There's a further bit of strangeness. In one instance of two I hit "Download All Patches", which populated the patch table with the patches from my MS-50G. In the other instance I did nothing, and wound up seeing the MS-50G patch table, but info about the current patch on the G2 Four.

Did you try https:/sym.bios.is as well?
It’s supposed to support multiple pedals.

I don’t have a G2 FOUR though, so I don’t think it’s fully supported.

Good point. I hadn't, but it does seem to support multiple pedals well. I guess the logic on that page is a bit different (is that code published anywhere?); zoom explorer appears to always focus on one pedal (index.ts: let zoomDevice = zoomDevices[0];) and I don't think there's a way to change that pedal.

I was thinking that clicking the device table at the top of zoom explorer to select a pedal, represented by bolding it, would be an easy solution. But zoomDevice is set to zoomDevices[0] in a good few places so it might not be as easy as I'd hope.
