Architecture docs are missing

Currently the architecture documentation files mentioned in the README (about the watchdog and queue) are missing.

I perused the source a bit and feel equipped to write these files if that is desirable, but wanted to open the issue first in case the files are already written and someone just forgot to commit them :)
