Suggestions for additions to the winmod guide #1
Description
Some things I think would be beneficial to add to the guide (working on the original concept of creating a resource for notable tools for new users to be aware of, whether to use, to avoid, or just to know the name).
- Rainmeter (customization tool)
- Start11, StartAllBack, StartIsBack (these are all different, right?) (I think these are transformation packs)
- Ameliorated, VinStar Theme (tools for applying transformation packs, I think?)
- Rectify11 (transformation pack)
More function-focused customization tools and utilities
- Microsoft PowerToys
- WinUtil
- Winaero Tweaker
- Wintoys
Resource Hacker and similar tools are probably worth a mention.
A general explanation on what MS Styles themes are, what they can do, where to find them, etc.
Notes on the more advanced native Windows customization, such as the MS Store themes, custom cursors, icons, system sounds (and where to get them).
ETA: Explorer Patcher, forgot to mention that one.
These aren't all necessarily tools I'm familiar with but just names that are thrown around a lot and would be good to have documented.
