No way to interact with text in the chatbox

Note: I don't mean the bit where you type your message in, I mean the bit where it displays everyone's messages.

There's no way to highlight/select text for purposes such as copying to the clipboard, and you can't click links. Not sure if the latter should even be a feature, but the former would be handy.
