Let's share how to solve mySQL errors!

We have been undergoing plenty of mySQL errors, each causing significant damage on our sprint progress.

Let's share how we solved the mySQL problem each time we fixed the problems.

sudo mkdir /var/run/mysqld

sudo touch /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock

sudo chown -R mysql /var/run/mysqld

sudo /etc/init.d/mysql restart

in this case, absence of socket file seems to be the problem.

On MacOs,
I have been troubled same issue(can't find mysql.sock),

mysqld stop && mysql.server start

works fine.
This problem rises when I reboot the machine.

I found out that most of the troubles don't arise when you enter following command before shut off:
sudo mysqld stop

• start
  mysql.server start
