important_settings.txt

Hii,

I am a new user of TDEP software. Currently, I am trying to install the software and getting some error messages while I am compiling. After installing all the required packages, I am following the steps as mentioned in the 'https://github.com/tdep-developers/tdep/blob/main/INSTALL.md' website. During compilation, by using 'bash build_things.sh --nthreads_make 4' command, it prints the following error message:

Fatal Error: Cannot open module file ‘hdf5.mod’ for reading at (1): No such file or directory compilation terminated.

Although the 'hdf5.mod' file is present in '/usr/include/hdf5/serial/hdf5.mod' path of my system, it prints that the file is missing. I have attached my 'important_settings' file for reference. Any help in fixing this issue will be highly appreciated.

PATH_TO_HDF5_INC="-I/usr/include -I/usr/include/hdf5/serial/" your hdf5 path is non standard.
