Metrics subsystem spams the log with HTTP 502 errors

I'm using MotdManager on my server and the server log is filled with these errros:

14:02:35 [INFO] [Metrics] Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://mcstats.org/report/HomeSpawnPlus
14:02:35 [INFO] [Metrics] Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://mcstats.org/report/MotdManager
14:12:35 [INFO] [Metrics] Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://mcstats.org/report/MotdManager
14:12:35 [INFO] [Metrics] Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://mcstats.org/report/HomeSpawnPlus
14:22:35 [INFO] [Metrics] Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://mcstats.org/report/HomeSpawnPlus
14:22:35 [INFO] [Metrics] Server returned HTTP response code: 502 for URL: http://mcstats.org/report/MotdManager

if the website is not working properly, can we at least get an option to disable metrics?

You can disable metrics on /plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml and set it to false.
