Issue with a gba srm save file

Hi, just tried this tool out, seem to have an issue with gba Castlevania - Circle of the Moon (USA).srm from a everdrive gba x5. I used the srm2sav.exe and it converted it to Castlevania - Circle of the Moon (USA).sav but when I place it in the mister /media/fat/saves/GBA folder and then go to the game its blank and ask me to load a new game?

I see the tool is 5 years old could there be an issue with compatibility now?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey,
Yeah that was a quickie tool a friend asked me to write, I'm not sure if anything has changed since :(.
Is it only this game / system that has an issue or you're not sure?

Hi yeah, I tried a few games and also creating a new save on the mister and then overwriting it and had a friend try also on his mister unfortunately didn't work for us.

Iused https://savefileconverter.com/#/mister and worked no issue. Could be the mister with its updates has messed the tool up.

Anyway not to worry and thanks for the reply and making up the tool in the first place!
