Hey @rex-0085, thanks for reporting this!

We investigated both requests by comparing against Word's actual behavior:

1. Adaptive column widths - You're right, this is a gap. When you insert a table in Word using the quick insert grid, it fills the page width automatically and divides columns equally. Our current 100px fixed default doesn't match that. We'll look into making this the default behavior.
2. Horizontal scrolling (overflow-x: auto) - This is not supported by Word either - the table just extends beyond the page edge.
