Weather in standalone app?

Most of the current code is for the weather. Also the weather connects to the internet to fetch the data (could cause data plan and privacy concerns).
I suggest moving the weather into a standalone app.

Another idea would be a plugin system where you can install widgets or something like that an extend your homescreen.
