Feature Request: Add OpenTelemetry OpAMP support #172
Description
It would be very useful if Rotel could support OpenTelemetry OpAMP.
OpAMP (Open Agent Management Protocol) defines a standard for remotely managing agents (collectors, SDKs, or other telemetry components). Adding OpAMP support in Rotel would enable:
- Centralized configuration management
- Dynamic updates without restarts
- Remote health and status monitoring
- Standardized interoperability with existing OpenTelemetry infrastructure
Why this is important
Rotel would integrate more seamlessly into OpenTelemetry-based observability pipelines.
This ensures that deployments can be managed at scale and benefit from OpAMP’s standard capabilities.

Add native support for OpAMP in Rotel (as client), aligning with the OpenTelemetry specification.
