Unable to interact with app past login

What happened?

I installed the app from the play store and can log in, then I get the "welcome to early access" screen which I can only dismiss with the Android "back" button, after which the home screen is displayed and I can't scroll it or interact with anything.

I have a Sony Xperia running Android 14. I had Revolt installed on my phone via the play store and ever since the rebrand, I can't get past the Stoat splash page. Not sure if that should be a separate bug.

I am on the unihertz titan 2

Square screen but other messaging apps works fine. Launching and logging into the stoat android app shows that screen where I can't do anything. Pressing Back gets rid of it but I still can't interact with anything on the app.

I have managed to get past the login by reducing my font size on my phone settings. Increasing the font size higher than default causes the button to acknowledge that this app is under construction to not be visible.
