hi, been following the guide, and I would appreciate your wisdom

I'm on my 4th oled install and I'm faced with problems.
1st switch : used hwfly lite = success 1 attempt

2nd switch : used hwfly core = boots hekate, stuck on Nintendo logo for ofw, block read errors when making emunand (replaced wires, replaced chip) finally succeeded

3rd switch : used hwfly core = boots hekate, same as 2nd switch, replaced wires, replaced chip (with original SX WITH SC 2.0 for trial) still getting block read errors,
set aside (this had a purple screen when I changed one of the wires, clk, cmd, dat0, but i seems to be fixed now, idk what I did maybe I restored boot 0/boot 1 but it boots emunand NOW, boots ofw when I unplug gnd and clk (won't boot ofw via hekate with known good bootloader config that works on other switches), I set this aside since it somewhat works.

4th switch : used hwfly core = boots hekate, same as #2, replaced wire for cmd since I'm trying to troubleshoot, rerouted RST from back - fan to, bottom - ram side, replaced 3.3v from enameled jumper wire to wire wrap, used the 3.3 beside fan fpc instead of the point beside emmc, changed the gnd line from the cap near charge port to the one beside antenna ports. still getting block read errors on both original sxcore and hwfly core

I have been using a dat0 adapter and I get 587-610 steady. Secured with hot glue since I do have a uv lamp yet to cure my mask

I mostly use enameled jumper wire (same as my first attempt and it was perfect) 0.3

what else do you think I can try?
my soldering is ok, not perfect like Northridge fix but my points are shiny somewhat and stronf

I didn't, I was using the old guide which worked before.
I just bought some resistors and will put on my setup.

but I think my 4th switch has a bad trace for idk reasons, I removed a wires and I still get purple screen. 3rd switch was the same but miraculously it worked after repeating everything.

also I managed to fix the 3rd, I did some tests and I made the clk very very short. it's tricky to make that loop around the heatsink. also I twisted my clk wires twice for the thickness and signal strength and now no more block read error and ofw boots on switch #3

now I have to get testing with switch #4, hopefully the resistor will help. I purchased 10,30,50 and will check which one works best

seems to not improve at all, now have a resistor, I managed to recover from the purple screen.

it seems the cmd line is very sensitive. if you managed to dislocate its soldering, it could result in a purple screen, also the clk line.
one switch oled I had 5th one, it would get block read errors, I shortened the clk wire and the error went away.
