Warning: API Request failed (Mac OS) - API URL

this happens when i set the API URL: to a name EG BitCannon Or MyIndexer Etc..

can some one please explain in detail what the API URL is used for there is no info about it any where in the wiki or any guides...

all i got is that the URL is supposed to act like this: http://localhost:1337/URLNAME/browse
EG: http://localhost:1337/BitCannon/browse but this fails as well.. i get a 404 page not found error...

an example of how the URL works would be much appreciated.. as i am thinking of running this software on my live server one day...

We're currently starting a rewrite of bitcannon in nodejs, so I don't quite remember, but I'm pretty sure the API url is something like "http://localhost:1337/", so if you wanted to host the API on example.com under the folder bitcannon on port 8080, it would be "http://example.com:8080/bitcannon/".

Try something like that and let me know if that helps.

Basically, from reviewing my code, I'm pretty sure it does API + endpoint ie. API + browse or API + search.
