Not working with brew - both app and CLI

Hey, very interesting project!

Unfortunately, I was unable to test it. I tried with

brew install --cask steipete/tap/repobar

1. My OS - MacOS 26.2
2. the CLI command not working
3. I was able to open the application just for few seconds - I clicked on "Restart to update" and it stopped to work
4. Impossible to run the app

Any clue? maybe there is some missing docs to follow?

Similar experience here. I first installed the app via Homebrew, and it seemed to work. Then it prompted me to restart to install an update. So I did. After the update has installed, the app won’t launch. I tried deleting it and reinstalling the Homebrew version, but now that won’t work either.

Here’s what I get when I try to launch the app from the terminal:

% open /Applications/RepoBar.app                                 
The application cannot be opened for an unexpected reason, error=Error Domain=RBSRequestErrorDomain Code=5 "Launch failed." UserInfo={NSLocalizedFailureReason=Launch failed., NSUnderlyingError=0x600001f600f0 {Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=153 "Unknown error: 153" UserInfo={NSLocalizedDescription=Launchd job spawn failed}}}

similar experience

• ran brew install --cask steipete/tap/repobar: this installed RepoBar Version 0.1.1 (2), which runs
• signed in, but doesn't seem to be working (not connecting to repos etc)
• updated (via UI) to 0.2.0
• relaunch and I get the error The application “RepoBar” can’t be opened.
• tried opening via terminal open command and got a very similar error to aviflax's, but code 163 instead of 153
