Multiple positions for partial allocations

"We have created a job and added positions. Each time an asset is allocated to the position, a duplicate position is created for the same type of asset and can’t be deleted.

This UI/UX (user interface & user experience) issue, has been acknowledged and a solution is still in the works.

Problem:
Assets required fill a certain date range as specified when building the job.

Once actual asset allocations are started/finalised, StayOnHire assumes the user needs to fill empty 'gaps' in the position. This will become obvious with the dates of allocations that appear as duplicates.

The app is functioning as intended, however, the UX does not match reality simply enough.

Solution:
Dylan to scope a solution for the removal of 'gaps'.
