Do not show nodes that are empty in PxWin

Describe the bug
The bug is reported in the google group as follows:

We use .link files in our PxWeb instances e.g. to link between our maintained databases and archive databases. This works nicely in PxWeb, but these links do not show in PxWin when using the API connector. If the link file is the only content in a database subfolder, PxWin shows an empty section in the menu tree. Is there a way to show link files in PxWin, and if not, hide sections/subsections in PxWin that do not contain any .px files?

Expected behavior
Either to shouw the link or to hide the folder

Actual behavior
A empty folder is shown
