Spreadsheet note type erased all my data

The spreadsheet note type simple erased all my data last night!

Indeed, all the spreadsheet notes type were gone misding all of a sudden. It looks like the sheets were moved to trash, but there is nothing in the trash bin!

I have been working on a few notes on the spreadsheet note type for a few days, and despite many other small bugs, such as being unable to rename a sheet, or not being able to change currency type, or not being able to duplicate a sheet, or not being able to add more then 75 rows to a sheet, and so on, I could at least write data in the sheets and find it there the next day.

Now, my work is completely lost! Do anyone have the same problem?

And, how to recover my data?

I just had a very similar (if not the same) issue.

I'd created a spreadsheet note and filled out a bunch of data, then came back two days later and the spreadsheet was blank. screaming 🥵

Looking in the note history, there was only one version listed, and that version contains no data.

After some digging around, I realise I had originally created and filled out the spreadsheet using the macos app. When I open the note in macos, the data is there. But when I open the note in the android app, the spreadsheet is empty.

EDIT: Upgrading the android app from v3.199.0 (3005176) to v3.201.8 (3005195) resolved this issue for me. My spreadsheet now contains the expected data when opened on android.
