Checklist note type showing empty on Android

Describe the bug
All of my checklist note types are showing empty on Android - both portrait and landscape mode, with only empty 'Open Tasks' and 'Completed Tasks' categories visible. On the web it is working correctly. Also when viewing the notes in the list of all other notes, I see the content - but not once I enter the note.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Create a new note
2. Convert to Checklist type
3. Create a couple of checklist tasks
4. Leave the note and then go back to it on Android - it shows empty

Expected behavior
It should show to the content of the note

I have a variant of the same problem - notes created and then converted to either checklist and advanced checklist types on my desktop, using the desktop app, show and work correctly. No content is visible via the Android version of Standard Notes.

I'm having the same problem on Android. If I change the note type to super note, everything shows up but after changing it back to checklist, it's blank again. The issue is also occurring with the Advanced Checklist note type.

I'm having a problem on Android as well. Some current notes are not being displayed such as checklist, advanced checklist, any note with a web link. New checklist created on the web app shows fine as a preview on the Android app but shows only empty Open Tasks and Closed Tasks in the note. I'm on Android 16 with a Pixel 9.

I spoke too soon...graphene OS phone was just updated and am having the same issues as Android

issue affects Checklists, advanced checklists and rich text. Notes with these types are viewable and editable from the Windows desktop app. Previews show on the Android, but when the note is opened, no content is visible at all

Same issue here (Graphene OS, Pixel 8)

GrapheneOS (based on Android 16) on Pixel 6, same issue (no data in notes) for checklists, markdown, and basic markdown notes. All OK on desktop (Fedora Linux 43/KDE/Wayland), web app, and iOS. Device restart, signing out and in to SN, uninstalling the app and re-installing doesn't fix it. It started at least two days ago and has persisted through a GrapheneOS system update.

Linking this to help increase coverage of the issue. This isn't my area expertise, but the issue appears to have been caused by a WebView update.

Same issues for me and my wife (both using Graphene OS). On the Mac app, everything is fine - on the phones, checklist, advanced checklist and OTP are not displaying at all.

Same problem in Android (Pixel 6, Standard Notes 3.201.3), Super and plain text seem OK, but Spreadsheet and Markdown appear blank. Linux desktop version (3.201.2) appears fine.

Same issue - I tested with checklists, spreadsheets, and rich text - all the same issues on the latest GrapheneOS build on a Pixel 9. I have a Pixel 9 on the stock ROM as well.

EDIT 1/15/26: my stock (Googled) Pixel 9 now has the same issue. I'm running the latest version of Standard Notes from the Play Store. I cannot see advanced rich text notes, basic checklists, and spreadsheets.

On my GrapheneOS Pixel 9, I tried the latest SN preview from Github, and I can now see Advanced Checklists, but not spreadsheets or advanced rich text.
