In live viewers the connection indicator is blinking even though data is comming #79

The connection indicator in the live viewers is often blinking or showing no connection even though data is received (reported by @RichardWhite109 ). This is probably due to a too short hold off time after receiving data. This time should be settable or based on the average rate maybe?
