add gpu example

It would also be nice to add some gpu examples, in particular CUDA

• profiling
  • nvprof
• benchmarks
  • use SetIterationTime to manually set time in google benchmark
  • use cuda API for runtime of a kernel
• simulation
  • don't appear to be any emulation / simulation options for CUDA any more
