In some circumstances server.py uses way too much CPU time.

For example, on my netbook (Intel Atom dual-core 1.67 Ghz) server.py uses around 50% of the CPU time.

Maybe one of the socket-reading loops is looping too tightly?

This appears to only occur when a serial comport setting is set to 'search'.

I guess this is just part of the whole 'comport searching isn't done at all properly' issue.
