Volume control lag

When I change volume mid game (in this case, apotris GBA) often nothing happens.

And after exiting to game switcher to main menu, changing volume has a 3-5 second lag that eventually gets faster (but still 1 second lag after a few minutes)

PS Thanks so much for your work on this, completely transformed my pixel 2!!

Will further test but looks like the issue might be due to using smart CPU setting for GBA, performance may have solved it. On the other hand, odd that the gbsp requires the higher cpu setting?

On my Wishlist would be an unintrusive number pop up when volume (and screen brightness for that matter) is being changed!
