SD card detected as not SD card

When I run the installer for spruceOS (Linux, LMDE) and try to install spruceOS using the installer to my SD card (64 GB, using SD card reader on my laptop), the installer errors out. The terminal says "is_removable: false" even though it is.

Thanks I’ll have to look into it a bit more. There are just so many Linux distros around and hardware implementations it’s tricky to find a balance of settings for this.

I intentionally hide none removable drives so the installer doesn’t nuke your hard drive lol

I think this is just an issue with where the card is mounted. The built in reader on my desktop (Ubuntu)and Linux-converted Chromebook (EndeavorOS) pick up cards just fine

Cool! For what it is worth, when I plugged a separate card reader into a USB slot, it worked fine. Probably could be something with this specific laptop. It is a Lenovo Y50-70 (I think), running Linux Mint Debian Edition version 6. I'll bet Lenovo did something goofy with their SD card slot reader or something
