I've spent many years working on a microservices framework called Go Micro. The idea was to boot up a platform that could be the basis for any apps or services. Sort of like Google + WeChat.

The framework did well, the platform not so much. So I'm starting again but from the top down this time.

Mu

Mu is a personal app platform that provides services without ads, algorithms or tracking. It combines chat, news, mail, posts and video in one place with a home overview page. It abstracts away existing things like YouTube and other services merely as API providers.

Mu is written in Go and runs as a single binary.

Reminder

I'm also working on the Reminder. An app and api for the Quran, hadith and names of Allah. It includes LLM for contextual RAG based search and summarisation.
