πŸ‘‹ Hi there

I'm AnInsomniac, a PhD candidate at the School of Intelligent Systems Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University, working on autonomous driving and large language models.

My Open-Source Projects

Motrix Next β€” A full-featured download manager rebuilt from scratch with Tauri 2 + Vue 3 + aria2. The original Motrix went inactive in 2023, so instead of forking it, I rewrote the entire thing.

TrackNet Series PyTorch β€” PyTorch implementation of the TrackNet series for real-time tracking of small, fast-moving objects in sports videos.

Badminton AI Vision β€” AI-powered badminton match analysis using YOLO. I trained professionally in badminton for four years as a kid β€” this is just me continuing the research by other means.

Lanelet2 macOS ARM β€” Native Apple Silicon port of the Lanelet2 HD map framework for autonomous driving.

What Sponsorship Goes Toward

Motrix Next currently ships without Apple code signing β€” the certificate costs $99/year, and I'm a grad student whose instant noodle budget requires planning. Your sponsorship would directly help me get that certificate so macOS users don't have to open Terminal and type an incantation just to launch the app.

The rest goes toward servers, dev tools, and occasionally upgrading from instant noodles to actual rice.

@AnInsomniacy

It gets me closer to affording the Apple Developer certificate so Motrix Next stops scaring macOS users with "app is damaged" dialogs. β˜•
