Let's think about what sort of details we can give the user about the scale - is it a pentatonic? Is it minor? Can we suggest complimentary scales?
I've got another component in another project that could be pretty neat to use here, I've called it an interval strip, but there might be a better name for it... It could be used to give a visual overview of the scale:
(Note that it's showing the intervals of a chord here, but we can apply that to the instrument just as easily)
We could also add a section that shows where the notes of the selected scale are on a fretboard or piano (I've already got a project for a fretboard and there are plenty of good piano components) - just ideas for now.
Another idea is to have a section that embeds youtube videos of people playing the scale... This is another thing that handpan players would find very useful if they're exploring various scales, and it's customary for players to include the scale & notes they're playing when they post videos, some examples:
