These include some for custom mapping, local autocorrelation, etc.

Options include:

• Leaving as is in tutorials (easiest for us, potentially hard for learners)
• Writing geodaExtras package
• Using new rgeoda functionalities instead (cons: I feel like this is still heavily under development)
• Trying to get our functions incorporated in open source packages
