Apparently non-Google search engines (duckduckgo) still uses them so they appear in search results. Also Google sometimes seems to use them. i.e. Google for "Software Engineer Compensation Guide" vs "quanticdev" only.
title/description/keywords can be backported from YT vids or Twits.
Also using header tags might be a good idea (but might also be redundant due to our h1/h2.. usage). Needs research: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_header.asp
