Hey guys, I have noticed that some of you haven't finished the task called build the LDAP by yourself: you only need to complete CentOS: OpenLDAP Installation and Configuration and test the result.
This just a small homework to help you understand how LDAP works and also be aware of network security (which is very important in the Internet industry). I will never push you to work this out, but at least this is a chance for all of you to study the stuff that is outside of your study scope.
Please read this document because it will help you how to build this step by step. If you have any question or find any bug, please tell me or submit an issue. No worries, the due date will be put off to next Saturday.
It will be nice if you guys can cooperate and complete this task together. 👍
And also, in the next few weeks, we need to focus on how to make users interact with our LDAP system. To better works, it requires all of you have at least basic understandings of front-end or Java back-end. We will discuss this together later.
