Depressor for Alternative Gantry #73
Description
The depressor design is for extruded aluminum gantries. However, some folks like myself have a different gantry that does not allow for a mounting point via a t-nut.
I use the ChaoticLabs carbon gantry that consists of round carbon fiber tubes for the gantry structure. Is there a way to create a mounting solution for this? I was thinking maybe a round clamshell clamp style that can clamp directly to the left gantry carbon tube with a set of heat inserts and some M3 cap screws. I'm not great at 3D CAD drawing, especially when modifying a current design, so I'll leave it to the pros.
