Please try adding "domain": "local" to the config.json.

Is there a reason this isn't in the default .json for the setup? Or some way to make this part of the setup instructions? I'm not sure what config needs it vs doesn't need it, but I've hit this twice.

I've been perplexed how this is possible since it started being reported. Looking at the code again, I think the problem is not in the logic that finds the interface or system search domain and falls back to "local" otherwise, I think that's working fine... I think the issue is in environments where the host name itself is empty/not configured. If anyone could confirm what these commands return in an environment with this problem, that'd be helpful:

• hostname
• cat /etc/hostname
• cat /etc/hosts
