PPV v. Unit Utility plot

Hi,
I was reading through the paper and the repository documentation and wondered if the PPV v. Unit utility plot is correct (Appendix A in the paper, plot gallery in the repository).

Multiple Y values correspond to the same X value, and generally, the curve shape seems odd. Can you clarify?
